Gregorio De Ferrari

The frescoes, paintings and drawings by Gregorio De Ferrari (Porto Maurizio 1647 – Genoa 1726) are considered among the most elegant examples of seventeenth century italian art.

This monograph catalogus and reproduces all of his known work, from the early years of study under Domenico Fiasella, his collaborations with Domenico Piola and with painters, sculptors and decorators attached to the Casa Piola, to his late activity when his elegant figures were often trasferred to canvas and frescoes by his son Lorenzo.
